Phoenix Man revives stronger than before, summoning an undead army to fight for him. He kidnaps Waganma, forcing Child Emperor to give chase. Using his Brave Giant, Child Emperor traps Phoenix Man with a tickling robot. Desperate to escape, Phoenix Man rips his costume to remove the device, but in doing so, loses his powers. Child Emperor seizes the chance and defeats him.
In another version of the battle, Phoenix Man evolves into Phoenix Penguin Mode, wielding ice powers and exposing dark secrets about the Hero Association. He tempts Child Emperor with offers of power, but Saitama arrives, breaking his influence. With encouragement from Zombieman, Child Emperor regains his determination. Phoenix Man reanimates fallen monsters, but Child Emperor counters with a Gigavolt Smash, shocking Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame back to normal. When Phoenix Man tries again, Saitama rescues Child Emperor. Unknown to Phoenix Man, Child Emperor had planted another tickle bug, which forces him to regress into a harmless chick, ending the fight.
Afterward, Saitama praises Child Emperor’s efforts. Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame attempt to kidnap him but are swiftly defeated by Saitama. Underdog Man then appears, and together they retreat to the surface. There, they are chased by Orochi’s dragons—only for Saitama to destroy them with ease. Meanwhile, Waganma deceives the group by lying about the other hostages’ situation, setting up new challenges ahead.
